As Ania’s brother and technical owner/father figure to Kitcha #3 (Kitcha #1 was my sister’s but wasn’t named #1 until #2 came, Kitcha #2 was communal), I vouch for this story.

I had forgotten that at one point (pre- 3 day tree excursion), Kitcha #3 was in fact a normally fit, and abnormally friendly feline.

Its funny that Ania points out the neglectful naming convention of Kitcha #3. As she mentions, Kitcha means female cat, so her real name translated into english is “female cat #3.”

That being said, I think it sounds much more prestigious to call her “Kitcha III” or “Kitcha the III (from Budd Lake Providence).

Isn’t the response time *amazing*? We had a funny smell in my building in Brooklyn last year, and the downstairs neighbors got all nervous (they had a kid) and called them. Three trucks screeched up about 2 minutes later; it was great! Turned out to be fumes from a floor refinishing job next door, but better safe than A-Gas-Leak-Blew-My-Building-Sky-High!
